UK Chunky yarn / 2 x DK (8ply) yarn knitted together
6.5mm needles
Tension ~
12sts = 4” (10cm)

Width: 17 " (43cm)
Length: adjustable ......... I made mine 20" (51cm)
Pattern Instructions ~
Cast on 50 stitches
Start with a garter stitch border - knit 8 rows
9th Row: S1, knit across row
10th Row: S1, k4, *p4, k2, repeat from * to last 3sts, k3
11th Row: S1, knit across row
12th Row: S1, k4, p1, k2, *p4, k2, repeat from * to last 6sts, p1, k5
Repeat the last 4 rows until the blanket measures the length desired
Complete with a garter stitch border – knit 8 rows
Cast off knit wise
Darn away ends
If you would like to make this baby blanket smaller or bigger ~
then reduce or add in multiples of six stitches ......
