The pattern instructions were given - but without a name or photo. Hundreds of knitters joined in and this was the result!

Every little hat is unique, depending on the yarn chosen. The requirements stated were ~
2 DK yarns in complementary colours or tones – one self-coloured & one short colour change (or self-patterning)
4mm needles (or 4.5mm if you are a tight knitter)

57sts = large preemie/small newborn
65sts = 0 - 3 months
