I just found this stitch and I think it is so pretty that I could't wait to use it.
I asked on my fb group for test knitters - and I am really happy with the result.

‘Milk & Sugar’ Baby Cardigan Jacket Newborn
Requirements:
50g – 60g DK yarn
4mm needles and 4.5mm needles
3 small buttons
Tension: 21sts = 4” (10cm)
Measurements:
Width: 16” (41cm)
Length: 8½” (21.5cm)
Sleeve length: 4½” (11.5cm)
Instructions:
Begin with the Sleeves (work 2)
Using 4mm needles, cast on 25sts
Knit 6 rows
Work in stocking stitch (one row knit, one row purl), increasing one stitch at each end of 5th, 11th and 17th rows, until the sleeve measures about 4½” (31sts)
Next Row: Cast off 3sts, work to last 3sts, cast off 3sts (25sts)
Leave these 25 stitches on a spare needle
Work the Main Part
Using 4.5mmneedles cast on 87sts
Knit 8 rows
Row 9: K6, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 5sts, k5
Row 10: K5, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 4sts, k4
Row 11: K5, * p1, k3, rep from * to last 2sts, k2
Row 12: K6, * p3, k1, rep from * to last 5sts, k5
Row 13: K6, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 5sts, k5
Row 14: K5, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 4sts, k4
Row 15: K7, * p1, k3, rep from * to last 4sts, k4
Row 16: K5, p2, * k1, p3, rep from * to last 8sts, k1, p2, k5
Row 10: K5, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 4sts, k4
