Version 1 Green only
Using UK Chunky green yarn (or 2 strands of green DK knitted together) and 6mm needles ~
Cast on 44sts
Change to 5mm needles ~
Knit 2 rows
K2tog across row 22sts
(K2, k2tog) across row to last 2sts, k2 15sts
Cast off leaving a tail (to use as a hanging cord if desired)
Join the 2 short edges
Add a hanging loop if desired – use the cast off tail, or use a silver or gold fine cord, or bakers twine
Decorate as desired ~ with sequins, beads, tiny buttons, ribbon, lace, bow ………..….. have fun!

Version 2 Green and red (or sparkly white or gold)
Using UK Chunky green yarn (or 2 strands of green DK knitted together) and 6mm needles ~
Cast on 44sts
Change to 5mm needles ~
Add in UK Chunky red yarn (or 2 strands of red DK knitted together) ~
Knit 2 rows - cut off red yarn
Continue in green only ~
K2tog across row 22sts
(K2, k2tog) across row to last 2sts, k2 15sts
Cast off leaving a tail (to use as a hanging cord if desired)
Join the 2 short short edges
Add a hanging loop if desired – use the cast off tail, or use a silver or gold fine cord, or bakers twine
There is no right or wrong side - chose which you prefer - and decorate as desired ~ with sequins, beads, tiny buttons, ribbon, lace, bow ………..….. have fun!
