Small Premature Baby Dress   ~ also fits a baby doll of 14" length

Measurements~
Width 11",   Length  8" 

Requires~ 
30g DK yarn, or any yarn that knits to a tension of 22sts = 4” (10cm)
4mm needles
2 small buttons

This little baby dress is knitted top-down

Top Tips:
Cast off loosely on row 26 for the cap sleeves – if you find this difficult – use a larger needle         

If you use a circular needle – you can knit the lower half of the dress in the round to avoid having a seam to join    - from row 28 onwards

Rows 1 & 2            Knit
Row 3                    K2, yo, k2 tog (makes a buttonhole), knit to end of row
Rows 4                   Knit
Row 5                     K4, (p1, k2) 11 times, k2
Row 6                     K4, (k1, p2) 10 times, k5
