Requirements:
DK yarn (around 70g for the small size)
4mm needles
Sizes:
Premature Baby ~ 14” wide
Baby ~ 28” wide
Instructions:
Cast on 81sts or 165sts
Border ~
Rows 1 – 6: S1, knit to end
Now work in pattern ~
Row 1: S1, k4, * k2tog, k2, kfb, kfb, k3, s1, k1, psso, k1, repeat from * to last 4sts, k4
Row 2: S1, k3, purl to last 4sts, k4
Repeat the last 2 rows twice more
Rows 7 – 10: S1, knit to end
The last 10 rows form the pattern
Repeat these 10 rows until the blanket is the size required- finish after completing a 10th Row
Complete with a border ~
Knit 3 more rows
Cast off
Darn away ends
