This is a sweet little blanket for a premature baby - it's a perfect project for charity knitting.
Hope you like it? I think it would be suitable for a boy or girl.
Knitted with a single 100g ball of DK yarn.

Requirements ~
100g ball of DK (8ply) yarn
4mm needles
Measurements ~
Width: 16" (41cm)
Length: adjustable ......... I made mine 18" (46cm)
Pattern Instructions ~
Ben’s Blanket
Cast on 85 stitches
Start with a garter stitch border - knit 10 rows
Pattern:
1st Row: S1, knit to end
2nd Row: S1, k4, *p3, k3, rep from * to last 8sts, p3, k5
Repeat the last 2 rows until you are happy with the length of the blanket (around 17”)
Finish with a garter stitch border – knit 11 rows
Cast off knit wise
Darn away ends
